Here is a story about our clients, Jeffrey Kwok and his father, who are both philanthropists from Hong Kong.Jeffrey's father ran a chain of "Mahjong Schools" in Hong Kong and his flagship outlet is situated on the ground floor of a sixty years old building called the Alhambra Building in Kowloon, Yau Ma Tei, near Temple Street. Temple Street was, one of Hong Kong’s red-light districts visited by aged local men but now dazzles with tourism. Jeffrey works in the advertising industry and is the founder of a local advertising company, PMM Media, which promotes social enterprises. An indoor flavour moved to the outdoor: the Cone lamps collection drives inspiration fromthe elegant abat-jour of the 50’s, with lines updated thanks to the skilful use of modern materials. Four models complete the collection: two lamps, one hanging lamp and one floor lamp. All of them are realized with a painted steel structure that supports a polycarbonate lamp covered with a printed outdoor fabric.

ILLUM
Fresh redesign of ground floor, contemporary atrium and impressive dome for ILLUM, department store located in Copenhagen city centre.
The project is driven by the ambition to make ILLUM into the shopping destination of the Scandinavian Countries.
The material used are mainly natural as they give a warm and distinctive touch to the overall space.
By walking into the store, the visitor is welcomed by a clear visual order and by a serene atmosphere.
The floor finish of the overall ground floor is Dreamwhite stone. This choice is driven by the intention of providing a neutral continuous base to the variety of retail activities that are populating the space.

Ostrea Light
The ensemble was designed for the Cultural Centre of Bucharest Municipality new headquarters. The requirement was to create a space object with the role of central chandelier focused on the goal stairway. The designer choice was to use several suspension spots placed off-center. Thus resulted an ensemble composed of three unique organic shapes with personality, surrealist floating through space, filling it with flashes and reflections without being aggressive due to their dimensions (L = between 110 cm and 210 cm). Indirect light is reflected from the lower surface of the bodies thus creating a dual effect of warm glow lighting and unobtrusive. Elephant
Elephant is the other Funny Farm animal we chose to convert into a light sculpture. Like all elephants, it has big ears, a trunk, even its own legs, and a body standing more than a meter and a half tall.
To turn Isidro Ferrer’s vision into a large-scale lamp, LZF has again drawn on the experience of the craftsman Manolo Martin.
Just as he did with Fish, Manolo used the “vareta” technique to shape the three spheres which constitute the body and the head of Elephant. Its luminous heart, at the centre of the sculpture, is diffused through a natural wood veneer internal lining. More
Totem -S
TOTEM, THE EMBLEMATIC LIGHTTotem is a veritable feast for the senses, a light whose proportions enliven a space with dramatic effect. Envisaged by designers Mariví Calvo and Burkhard Dämmer, Totem evolved from the clever amalgamation of Dämmer’s Pod and Poppy pendants. A sublime lighting structure, Totem has the emblematic air of a sacred object, a light whose shape and spirit are reflected in cultures worldwide. Available in three stacked variations, the Totem pendant diffuses warm light through the gaps in its wood veneer strips. As a physical entity, Totem’s presence is impressive. The seventies was a great decade for the invention of dome shaped objects, like the transparent dome umbrella, the dome hat with those round orange sunglasses incorporated into it; but what we most cherish from this decade is the dome of silence from the TV. series Get Smart. When the designers, Rqr Studio, brought this design to us, we just had to have it, in memory of agent 86.
The lampshades are available in 11 different wood veneer finishes. More
