Perched on the 27th floor of a London tower, this 150m² apartment offers sweeping views of the Thames and a design story rooted in the experience of modern luxury. Conceived by Saccal Design House as a pied-à-terre and an occasional home for an aviation professional, the apartment transforms everyday living into a hotel-inspired retreat, one that feels both indulgent and deeply personal. Greyfort House
Completed in December 2019, Greyfort House is a residential development of 8 units on a prominent corner plot in South Croydon.The challenge was to create a design that would successfully respond to the various urban conditions around the site.The building acts as an interface between the different scales and patterns of development surrounding it, whilst addressing the busy corner junction in a coherent and composed manner. Its form evolved through a contextual analysis of the scale, proportions, building lines, materials and architectural details of the surrounding streetscapes and was sculpted by the arising opportunities.
