Located in the mountainous region of Wenzhou, F.X. Mayr will be the first holistic eco-wellness retreat in China. Drawing inspiration from its beautiful location - the flow of the secluded hills that IS the site – the building aims to touch the earth lightly. We envisioned a building, perched up off the ground , where nature and life within it, can continue to flow beneath it. The loop as a building encapsulates the flow and enforces a powerful energy of the mountain as well as creating an infinite and continuous spatial experience.
