Little Venice House

Nestled in the heart of Westminster, within the picturesque district of Little Venice, this house sits among canals and heritage façades that preserve the charm of early twentieth-century London. Built around 1900, it belongs to an architectural era when the city was evolving rapidly, yet retained the grace of its Victorian and Edwardian roots. SNOB Architects designed this 240 m² apartment as a cohesive interior composition built on contrast between deep burgundy accents and natural materials. Wood, metal, stone, and glass are combined to create a layered yet balanced spatial atmosphere. SNOB Architects The open-plan kitchen–living area forms the core of the apartment. High ceilings and panoramic glazing maximize daylight, while a sculptural curved island integrates steel, wood, and concealed storage. The most striking feature of this home are the razor-edge roof profiles and the fact that those roofs swoop both vertically and horizontally. It is really an evolution of modern design. The Jacobs Music Center, home to the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, is now a top-tier venue for concerts, comedy shows, corporate events, film screenings, and more. This nearly 100-year-old hall has been beautifully transformed into a modern performance space while preserving its historic charm. Reopened in September 2024, the hall boasts state-of-the-art digital sound and lighting technology that can accommodate up to 1,823 audience members.
