Colourful Couture

“Up for Anything” is a nod to the height of the Zalmhaven Tower apartment and the courage of its female owner. High above Rotterdam, Lagrand Interior Design created an apartment that combines spectacular panoramic views with an exclusive, refined interior. The empty new building has been transformed into a warm, layered home with distinctive details and a soft, feminine signature.  The private foyer serves as a personal entrance, separate from the main entrance, and immediately sets the tone for the interior. Layered wall decorations in warm reds and powdery tones combine with soothing, natural materials, creating depth and balance. Carefully selected elements – a sculptural wooden object, a bench with varying... More

Loops Penthouse

When architects Dan and Sandra Wilson first acquired this 1,325-square-foot penthouse in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square, the interior was a collection of vibrant eccentricities—glass block, sheet metal, and colorful wall coverings. The project became an intentional exercise in "addition by subtraction," subduing the visual noise to celebrate the unit's most significant assets: expansive views of the Puget Sound and an abundance of natural light. MD Penthouse

The MD Penthouse forms the uppermost layer of MD House, a residential project by NiMa Design in Sofia, Bulgaria. Set directly beneath a sharply pitched roof, the space demonstrates how complex geometries can be transformed into functional, serene living environments through careful planning and material discipline. Angled ceiling surfaces finished in smooth white plaster create sculptural lines that define the interior. To counterbalance this geometric intensity, walnut flooring, wall cladding, and integrated furniture establish visual rhythm and maintain continuity with the material palette of the wider home. Bionic-Constructivist Architectural Symbiosis

The Lviv Hotel is a characteristic representative of Soviet constructivism in architecture and at the same time a bright phenomenon among other buildings of this era, despite the fact that at the time of its construction the main task of local architects was to adapt the standard project to the existing situation, and the creation of exclusive architectural elements, to put it mildly, was not welcomed (especially if they had a purely aesthetic function). The architects of the project Konsulov Anatoly Dmitrievich and Nivina Ludmila Denisovna nevertheless managed to circumvent these rigid restrictions within the limits of the possible. Konsulov, "responsible" for the aesthetics of the building, created a partly romantic, partly progressive-fu... More

Ecopark Penthouse

Optimizing the home owner's aesthetic personality and bringing more green and most relaxing space are the criteria set out for the architects. Based on a current land-site that is cramped and limited in size (90sqm/floor), the architects have used a variety of solutions from creating floor-through space, omitting unnecessary rooms/space, fully maximizing the beautiful views of the urban township and laying unique green parts (garden stands).  Hoang Le Hoang Le Hoang Le Hoang Le For the Penthouse apartment, a contemporary design style was applied in combination with the use of several selected, classic industrial-style furnitures. The living room, kitchen and dining room were designed connectedly with large sur... Zen Garden Residences by Svetozar Andreev

Svetozar Andreev: Zen Garden Residences a unique residential space - an evergreen oasis - in the historical center of St. Petersburg.  Northern architecture with a southern character. Saint Petersburg is often called the star of the North, and like many cities located in cold climates, it lacks a warm summer atmosphere. As a practical consequence of understanding this peculiarity of the city, I came up with the idea of the ZEN GARDEN project - a unique living space of an evergreen oasis in the historical center of St. Petersburg. © Svetozar Andreev 2023 The idea of an oasis or hidden garden formed the general layout of the ZEN GARDEN building, the core of which is a green atrium with hanging balcony gardens with tropical p...
