At Morgan Creek Estate in Isle of Palms, South Carolina, the architecture defined the lighting solution. The dramatic cathedral ceiling called for a fixture that could occupy the exceptional vertical space while remaining light, refined and visually connected to the warm coastal interior. Working with Herlong Architects + Interiors, we created a custom Sunbeam chandelier composed of 42 handcrafted glass pendants in our White 124 glass. Two bespoke glass chandeliers were created for an $89M private estate in Beverly Park, Los Angeles, developed by Paradigm Developers. Each installation was designed specifically for the scale, proportions and character of its architectural setting. Located in a mature oak hammock, the clients of La Escondida requested a house that celebrated the lush vegetation and beauty of the landscape while also providing privacy for the family. The structure is oriented so the views from each room highlight specific trees. Nestled in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Gurugram, the Doon Residence makes a modern, distinctly minimalist statement. Tasked with bringing the family’s design sensibilities to life, the Picturesque Studio conceptualised the house to frame its ten-thousand square feet built fabric within strong linear profiles. Designed for a modern-day family of four, the single floor apartment at the DLF Magnolias, in Gurugram manifests an unexpected evocative story that has been built through colour, textures, details, patterns, and forms that exudebeauty, adventure, eclecticism, and romance. Engaging in socially responsible architecture is an integral part of Hybrid’s philosophy of practice–that’s why for Hill House, the firm partnered with a longtime Seattle resident to turn their oversized lot into a total of three homes.
