The Green House - Oslo

MORFEUS arkitekter were engaged by clients Astri and Henrik Botten Taubøll in 2017 to design a new home on their recently inherited property, Sørbyhaugen 24 in Oslo. The choice fell jointly on transforming and extending the original house from 1933, even though the house was in a poor condition. The result is a contemporary, unique architectural object with a distinctive local, historical anchoring with roots to the traditional functionalistic wooden villas of Norway. Baia Villas

Capturing the relaxed, vibrant spirit of Mandrem, North Goa, Baia is a set of six villas designed to blur the distinction between indoor and outdoor spaces, a contrast typically found in conventional homes. Each villa showcases an identical design, with three bedrooms and private outdoor areas that include a pool, jacuzzi, and small garden, all beneath sloping roofs made of locally sourced tiles. Inspired by the village’s rich Portuguese heritage and laid-back ‘Susegad’ lifestyle, the villas reflect a thoughtful blend of tradition and modern design, creating environments that foster community while offering privacy. ENVY

Envy is located in Santa Ponça, a quiet holiday area in the southwest of Mallorca, located just 15 minutes from Palma. It is located in front of the marina of this town and at a distance of a few minutes on foot from the main bars, restaurants and beaches in the area. Tomeu Canyellas The house is inspired by the characteristic style of the architect Jaime Salvá, from Jaime Salvá Architecture & Interior Design firm, due to its horizontal structure and its architectural immersion in the natural landscape. The design draws particular attention to its exposed concrete exterior, an industrial material that unites its structural functionality with the aesthetics of the final finish. The architect Salvá had b... More
