Kastelli Community Centre is a place for learning, education, sports and culture. The many users of the Centre include the comprehensive school, upper secondary school for youth and adults and a library. There are also facilities for the adult education and a youth centre. Variety of sport halls of different sizes serve athletic clubs after school days. The largest sports hall with 800 seats is used also for floor ball, basketball and volleyball games in the national league level. Korea has a new colorful and hip interior shop called Color Me Space. It sells unique furniture props and small items imported from America, India and China. On the floor Marmoleum Vivace #3403 that serves as a good base for all the colors. Noorderbreedte is an unique, beautiful and very broad new school The newly built community school Noorderbreedte Diemen is very broad. It employs a total of six institutions for education, care and development of children. The building also has a function as a meeting place for the neighbourhood. Noorderbreedte is furthermore very durable with thermal storage, Marmoleum on the floor and heat-insulating glass. We were looking for an idea for uniqueness, diversity, to stand out from the background. The striped composition was actually imposed itself by the interior, but rather by the possibility of the practical use and adapt to the needs of the cafe: a large, rectangular room with a long glass-case along the street and as long as long as possible comfortable bar. Stripes helped keep an order in the flood of colors, moreover, the same colors also were limiting to a set of six "fruit and flower" power shades: daffodil, tangerine, fuchsia, hyacinth, turquoise and lime.
