Townhouses at Calais drive

Normandy Isles Historic District has some excellent examples of Mediterranean Revival, Classical Revival, Masonry Vernacular, Minimal Traditional, Art Deco and Moderne. Most of the buildings were part of the postwar modern style better known as “Miami Modern” or “MiMo”. 2005 Calais Drive is a set of 12 Townhouses located over Calais Drive on the west side of the island adjacent to a canal that’s gives access to  Biscayne Bay. Cult Gaia Miami Flagship

After completing Cult Gaia’s New York flagship store, founder Jasmin Larian entrusted Sugarhouse to design her Miami flagship as well. Tasked with creating a concept that honors both the brand and the landscape, Sugarhouse sought inspiration from temple architecture, Larian’s Persian heritage, and Henry Rousseau’s painting The Dream. Kris Tamburello The first noticeable reference is the exterior. The A-Frame structure breaks from the typically flat architecture of Miami’s Design District. Miami City View Garage

IwamotoScott was commissioned by Dacra and LVMH Real estate to design the southern end of the City View Garage in Miami's Design District. Our facade design is adjacent to the central portion of the facade designed by the Los Angeles based artist John Baldessari, and at the opposite end to the north is a facade design by New York based architects, Leong Leong. Luis Gomez Caption Sited along the edge of the Design District adjacent to I195, the building's facade has a strong presence from the freeway, and thus acts as a kind of billboard for the Design District.
