Vipperød Bakker

Vipperød Bakker is a residential development designed with a focus on the quality of everyday life and a strong sense of connection. Caption Caption Caption Caption Caption The homes are constructed in light-coloured brick with dark roofs, creating a calm and timeless expression. Kystvillaen

Kystvillaen is situated on the edge of the coastal landscape in Greve and extends across approximately 330 square metres. The house is designed with a focus on calm, rhythm and light, where natural materials and fluid transitions create a harmonious flow throughout the spaces. Large floor-to-ceiling windows open the house towards the coast, while terraces extend from the living areas, dissolving the boundary between indoors and outdoors. The villa is organised around a three-part zoning concept — private, shared and creative spaces — each with its own atmosphere and function. Movement through the house follows a natural transition from open and social spaces to more intimate and secluded areas. The central volume accommodates t... More

Kildehus

The project focuses on the renovation and transformation of the house’s exterior and the surrounding garden. The existing architecture is updated with new exterior elements, including a new terrace that strengthens the connection between the house and the garden. The garden is designed as a series of distinct outdoor spaces, each with its own atmosphere and function. Areas for morning sun, dining, relaxation, sunbathing, afternoon activities and evening gatherings are defined through planting, pathways and variations in materials. Caption Caption Caption Caption A central aspect of the project is the sensory experience of the garden. Aromatic plants, changing light, lush vegetation, and the sound and movement of... More

Panorama by Elie Saab

Panorama by Elie Saab brings the language of Parisian couture to a coastline defined by open water, wind, and light. Located within the Sea Breeze development on the Caspian coast in Baku, it is the first Elie Saab branded residence in Azerbaijan. CUUB Studio was commissioned to create the visual identity for the project, and the central challenge was to translate the intangible qualities of the site into images that could convey both the location and the Elie Saab aesthetic within the same frame. Coastal light, wind, the openness of the Caspian — none of these appear on a floor plan, but they define life at Panorama. LYGHT

The tall office building, accompanied by its expansive flat side extension, was ideally situated: Golzheim is a well-connected and diverse neighborhood. In 2019, we collaborated with the MOMENI Griup, residents, and local stakeholders in the “Westlich Kennedydamm” workshop to envision the area's future development, considering various usage needs and conditions. Building upon this groundwork, we set out to rejuvenate the former Nordstern insurance company branch. Functionally, the building was well designed by Philipp Holzmann AG and built in 1973 to high standards. But in many ways, it had become dated. We embarked on a comprehensive reprogramming of the existing structure for MOMENI, resulting in LYGHT – a revitalized sp... More

Contemporary Waterfront Home in a Natural Setting

Situated on the Gulf of Finland, this waterfront residence combines minimalist architecture with traditional Tudor elements. The property spans 2 491 m² and includes two buildings: the main house and a guest house with an integrated staff annex and garage. A winter garden connects the two structures, creating a green oasis that softens the sharp geometry and adds a sense of harmony to the composition. SNOB Architects SNOB Architects The design emphasizes natural materials – wood, stone, and thatch – chosen for their aesthetic quality, durability, and environmental friendliness. The thatched roof required a specialized drainage system and contributes both character and sustainability to the design. Large panoramic... More

Tbilisi Hills Golf & Residences Complex The design for this individual residential unit is conceived in consideration of the project plot's topographical context and its location, which affords panoramic vistas of Tbilisi. Cabin House

Cabin House is a modest, low-impact home located in a wooded suburban lot outside Asheville, North Carolina. It was designed for a couple seeking to exchange urban life for a quieter, more connected existence. The clients’ goal was clear: a cozy, efficient dwelling that embraced the landscape, celebrated simplicity, and avoided unnecessary excess - financially and materially. Ryan Theede Caption   A simple structure in harmony with the land The design is composed of three intersecting volumes with one for parking, one for shared living spaces, and one for private areas. These are arranged to follow the site’s natural contours and capture sunlight and views. Instead of a heavy garage, the architects opted f... More

MOUNTAIN MINT

We were approached by a retired couple to design a home for them in a residential community outside of Asheville NC.  Lissa Gotwals The site itself presented just the kind of constraints that energize our work. In this case, the budget and site dictated a compact, resource-efficient house—just 2.000 square feet—that occupies the clearing right off the road so we disturb the site as little as possible.  Ryan Theede Our vision for the house was to preserve the feeling of untouched natural beauty by designing a quiet and unassuming shelter that provides the essentials yet it is luxurious in its simplicity of design and the connection it affords to the woods surrounding it. On the outside we wanted the building... More
