On a monumental enclave of former barracks, workspaces and ammunition storage on Het Hembrugterrein in Zaanstad a transformation occurs.
The 100-year-old workspace A11 for weapon repair is being transformed into residential- and working spaces at the initiative of a group of inspiring and creative people. The visible scars of the building that have arisen over the past century are embraced. A renovation based on valuable details such as the stepped brick corners, the brick arch above the windows and brick cill layer beneath. MS Amlin
For insurer MS Amlin, we have designed and realised a new office interior on the 10th and 11th floor of the WTC Rotterdam. The remarkable oval design of the monumental building is clearly visible on both floors and defines the lay out of the interior.
The corridor zone runs along both sides of the oval core and forms a connecting element for all spaces. By using this core for various functions, the daylight area is free for workstations along the sides. The choice to use different shades of gray combined with black details makes it a completely calm, sleek and contemporary design. The wooden elements and the red accents provide a warm and fresh touch.

Restaurant Entrepot
Introduction
Restaurant Entrepot is led by chef Arvid Schmidt and host Xander Waller. The menu offers an ever-changing list of exciting small dishes, made with local seasonal products and largely prepared over open fire. The restaurant is located in Amsterdam on the iconic Entrepotdok, an industrial area from the 17th century with many monumental warehouses. The building which houses Restaurant Entrepot is also a Dutch cultural heritage site.
Design concept

Monumental loft canal, Amsterdam
The space is located in a 17th century monumental canal house in the center of Amsterdam. It is now used as a guesthouse of approximately 90m² that is connected the upper house of 180m².It is an open space with a high ceiling. We build a white between floor with a sculptural staircase where various functions as the guest bed, movie wall, pantry and toilet have been processed in. The wooden unit contains a Jacuzzi and desk.All these functions are organically connected through level differences and several stairs, whereby the room can playfully be discovered. The Milano radiator, part of the Elements collection by Tubes, is a totally multifaceted interior design item whose main feature is its versatility. It was designed by AstoriDePontiAssociati in 2006 and was one of the items selected by the Permanent Design Observatory and published in the ADI Design Index 2008, for its high technological innovation and design content. The high innovation level of design in Milano is confirmed by the curators of the Die Neue Sammlung - The International Design Museum Munich, who have selected it for the design permanent collection of the museum.
