Multi-Faith Centre, University of Toronto
The Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Toronto accommodates spiritual and faith-based practices, encouraging interfaith dialogue and spiritual development as part of campus life. The space is a uniquely versatile venue in which people of all faiths feel equally welcome and equally valued. Selective alterations to the existing interior create ‘faith-neutral’ spaces that provide sanctuary and retreat for all people, creating opportunities for interfaith dialogue and study.

The WuduMate Mobile is a mobile appliance for safe and comfortable wudu. This unit can be used in any environment where somebody needs to perform the Muslim pre-prayer ablution ritual called wudu:
In the home where there is not enough room for a permanently plumbed WuduMate or in a property which is rented so permanent fixture for wudu is either not permitted or the cost cannot be justified
In office multi-faith rooms where only a few/occasional Muslim staff don’t warrant permanent wudu facilities
In hotels or student accommodation where only occasional Muslim visitors do not warrant permanent ablution areas, nor a permanent WuduMate in each room

The WuduMate Compact is a compact and discreet facility for wudu, the Muslim pre-prayer ablution ritual, designed for the home or low usage environments where space is limited.
The WuduMate Compact's ergonomic chromed stool, with optional handles, can be positioned to provide a comfortable position for wudu for adults or children or moved aside for wheelchair users. When the facility is not being used, the stool can be neatly stored over the WuduMate washing bowl.

The WuduMate Classic is an easily installed wudu washing bowl for commercial buildings where inclusion and diversity matter, including multi-faith and prayer rooms in offices, schools, hospitals, prisons, public buildings and leisure venues. Wherever Muslims work or visit, a WuduMate Classic should be installed. This unit is often installed in larger bathrooms in the home as well. The services (water and waste) come out of either the base or the rear of the unit, avoiding the requirement for sub-floor drainage or plinths.

A sanctum of narratives and memories
The project is a Multi-faith cemetery whose intent and design is based upon core aesthetic, volumetric, phenomenological and ritualistic principles in an attempt to understand the cohesive inter-relationship between faith and sacred architecture. The site is in Thane, Maharashtra, India. The site sits along the banks of the river Ulhas. Thane is left with few places for burying the dead. Over 25 active proposals to repair and renovate crematoria in the city have been pending with the civic body for over two years.
