The WuduMate Mobile is a mobile appliance for safe and comfortable wudu. This unit can be used in any environment where somebody needs to perform the Muslim pre-prayer ablution ritual called wudu:
In the home where there is not enough room for a permanently plumbed WuduMate or in a property which is rented so permanent fixture for wudu is either not permitted or the cost cannot be justified
In office multi-faith rooms where only a few/occasional Muslim staff don’t warrant permanent wudu facilities
In hotels or student accommodation where only occasional Muslim visitors do not warrant permanent ablution areas, nor a permanent WuduMate in each room
In hospitals where the WuduMate Mobile can be taken to the patient rather than the patient being taken to the ablution room
In nursing homes or care homes where patients or residents may be too fragile to move easily
In police stations and prisons where the WuduMate Mobile can be taken to cells for use rather than prisoners taken to an ablution area
At muslim weddings, exhibitions and any other event where temporary wudu facilities are required in singles or configured in multiple units
Features and benefits for buyer and user
Compact and moveable wudu facility with handle and wheels
Includes a retractable stool and a bowl which can be pulled out for use and then discreetly stowed for storage or for wheeling elsewhere
Has a 14-litre upper reservoir, which can be filled with a hose by wheeling the WuduMate Mobile to a water source or which can be removed and carried to a water source for filling
Has a 14-litre lower reservoir, which can be emptied with an optional internal pump and hose by wheeling the WuduMate Mobile to a sink or drain, or which can be removed and carried to a sink or drain for emptying
The unit's tap has a 0.5 litre per minute aerator giving approximately 14 minutes of running water for wudu before needing to be emptied and refilled
Where multiple WuduMate Mobiles are required for an event ball valve controlled mains water supply and an outlet to mains drains are possible
Where access to an ablution area is not possible, the WuduMate Mobile can be wheeled to a disabled person for use, and the washing bowl can then be positioned easily for wheelchair access
For an employer, provision of a wudu facility can mitigate health and safety risks and Disabled Discrimination Act (DDA) compliance risks and supports Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), equality and diversity policies
