Boavista Housing
Located in Porto, between the Atlantic Ocean and the City Park, Boavista Housing 5205 occupies a site where the urban grid loosens toward the coast. Designed by A43, the multi-residential volume uses pronounced horizontal planes and vertical structural elements to mediate between the city, the park, and the sea. Comprising eight duplex apartments, the development addresses density through typological hybridisation: instead of standard shared-access corridors, each unit has independent vertical circulation cores and private entrances, offering the spatial autonomy of single-family residences.
