Brighton Apartments - Designed for multi-generational living

Brighton Apartments reimagines multi-residential living with a bold yet sensitive design that supports three generations of one family. Conceived as an “open nest,” the project allows each household to live independently while remaining closely connected — a contemporary reinterpretation of intergenerational living that balances autonomy, care, and togetherness.

Located on a prominent corner site, the building brings a calm confidence to its Bayside streetscape. A sculpted façade of white concrete curves, expansive glazing, and cascading greenery creates a strong architectural identity that feels both playful and sophisticated. The curves soften the massing, echo the coastal setting, and establish harmony with the surrounding neighbourhood, while deep balconies and planters enrich the public realm as much as the private.

Inside, the curved geometry continues through floor plates, joinery, and circulation, ensuring cohesion between exterior form and interior experience. Each apartment is individually tailored to its occupants, from the penthouse crowned with a 360-degree wraparound terrace and circular indoor garden, to the ground-level residences that connect seamlessly with landscaped courtyards. Shared amenities such as underground parking and circulation zones are resolved with efficiency, enabling generous, light-filled living spaces.

The project also represents a sustainable approach to density. Natural ventilation, extensive shading, and layered planting reduce environmental load while fostering wellbeing. Construction decisions balanced cost, efficiency, and long-term value, delivering four finely detailed apartments on a budget comparable to a single Brighton residence.

Brighton Apartments is a model for a new type of family living — one that challenges the conventions of multi-residential design and responds with warmth, intelligence, and longevity. It is at once a sanctuary for its inhabitants and a confident addition to the architectural fabric of Brighton.
