You Ning

A new pavilion in Eindhoven as a gift from the Chinese city of Nanjing. Image Courtesy B-too Nanjing The former Philips enclave Strijp-S in Eindhoven is the place where it was decided that this unique building with patently clear Chinese influences should be erected. An effervescent place where residential, life and work go hand-in-hand, and consequently there is always something to do here. The new pavilion in Eindhoven is a gift from the Chinese city of Nanjing. The name You Ning refers to this good city connection. “You” means friendship and “Ning” is the abbreviated name for the city of Nanjing. One Plus Partnership designs a jewelry shop that reimagines the ancient city of Nanjing

Hong Kong-based interior design studio One Plus Partnership has completed an immersive experience shop for the Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group. Located in the historic Chinese city of Nanjing, the shop reimagines the ancient city using a gold leaf motif and gift box concept. Yingshan Creative Images, Shady Chen Nanjing was once the capital of six ruling dynasties in China and is a place imbued with classical charm. Much of the city’s documented architecture has now disappeared (through modernization or wear and tear), but it features in traditional Chinese poetry and on painted scrolls. Nanjing Public Medical Center

Description Located in Qinglong Mountain in the southeast of Nanjing, the ecological features of its location, such as mountains, forests and lakes, is what makes Nanjing Public Medical Center so special. Its topology characteristic can be described as higher in the west and lower in the east, with two valleys in the north and the middle, making it easy to connect with the arterial road in the east, while contributing to the charm of the unique feature of the mountainous area. Caption The two flanking ridges also provide a natural safety barrier and the possibility of multiple entrances. Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital South Expansion Project is located in the central area of Nanjing, with a base area of 37,900m2 and a total construction area of 230,000m2, which is a comprehensive hospital expansion project integrating inpatient, outpatient, emergency, medical technology and academic exchange, etc. Xia Qiang The design started in 2003 and was completed and operated in 2012. The inspiration comes from the interpretation of the word hospital in the traditional Chinese culture. The Latin word hospital in Western languages originally meant to gather guests, while in traditional Chinese culture, the word "hospital" means "medical compound". NANJING DAJIAOCHANG AIRPORT MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT

Jointly led by Design Partners, Chin Yong Ng and Lukasz Wawrzenczyk, the design team has released new plans for one of the largest transport-oriented retail landmarks in Nanjing. Caption 10 Design won an international design competition to transform China Fortune’s 243,768sqm site into a contemporary mixed-use project in 2020. Recently, the Nanjing Planning Bureau granted planning consent for the project, which is part of the wider redevelopment of the historic Nanjing Dajiaochang military airbase in China.
