The Fall
In order to satisfy the requirement of a common platform for the outsiders and users of the co working space, THE FALL is an amphitheatre designed in between a large courtyard of the premises. The installation was envisioned to be a backdrop having its own form like a sculpture. Following the language of the project, the design is an evolution of parallel lines. Bending as of a hand, each vertical plate consistently carried the elegance of the structure. It also manifests the concept of co working, multiple vertical members portraying multiple hands. Cloud Tower – Open-air pavillon Grafenegg
The open-air stage adds a new accent to the historic palace park of Grafenegg. The stage roof unfolds as sculptural motif and rises up like the crown of a great tree between the existing treetops. The reflections in the metal surface create the feeling of a “cloud-capp’d tower”, the “Wolkenturm”. Based on the fundamental acoustic principles of “what you see you hear”, affinities are explored between perspective and acoustic space. Earthworks and embankments have created artificial hills, into which stage and auditorium merge smoothly in topographical relief. Ingenious planning of viewpoints and spatial sequences opens up a multi-stratified space. The “Wolkenturm” has the function of both stage and pavilion within the landscape garden.

CLOUD No.7 / PAVILION
With a roof draped «like a leaf between trees», the «Wolke 7» (Cloud 7) structure nestles naturally into the historic park landscape.
On the path between the castle inn and the tower, the walkway has been expanded to define the pavilion grounds.
The "floating" roof, a curved umbrella above the ground, creates a spatial and atmospheric effect, marking the culinary meeting point at the centre of the castle park.
The twice-bent, in-situ concrete surface rests on the steel supports like a "sheet of paper". The resulting deformation elevates the natural bending process to a structural principle. "Culture Square". Plaza del Salvador Public Space Rehabilitation.
The Square of Culture is a proposal of urban intervention which has as main objective to revitalize culturally the public space of Talavera de la Reina. We make a multiple and flexible scenic space which surrounds and delimits El Salvador square. A place you can enjoy watching a film in the summer cinema, listening to music in the open air, going to photography exhibitions, dancing in concerts and “verbenas”…
This project comes from a rigorous analyze of the public urban space in Talavera, taking into account the traffic flows, sunlight, topography and pre-existing use.
