The 12 story building also features on-site parking at a 3.7:1000 ratio. The buildings parking garage features 1600 m² of Architectural Wire Mesh from Haver & Boecker. TPS- Tower Parking System

The Tower Parking System allows to park up to 70 vehicles in the space of three. The TPS is definitely the most efficient system when it comes to saving horizontal space and taking advantage of vertical space. The Tower is able to multiply the existing parking capacity more than 20 times, using the footprint of three parking spaces. Towers may be installed one next to the other, one behind the other and in clusters; increasing even more their incredible potential for space optimization.Even though Tower Parking Systems may reach a total of 35 levels, they can also be designed and built in lower configurations to accommodate different height restrictions. It is important to highlight that parking “levels” are lower than - or not as high... More

Parking de Moulins

The architecture of car parks is almost tainted with negative associations caused by many functional and gloomy buildings. But there are some ways to make the architecture of parking garages interesting and attractive. For example, the car park in the French town of Moulins has recently been renovated and transformed. The facade was enveloped in architectural wire mesh cladding made of EGLA-MONO 4391 by Haver & Boecker. The flat surface on one side of the wire mesh appears to generate patterns across the full plain of the façade created by homogeneous light reflections. The architectural wire mesh cladding not only enhances the appearance of the car park, it also increases it´s functionality. The open area of 52 % provides natural lig... More

Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital Railing

The 500,000-square-foot Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton opened in December 2013 and serves members of the military in a healing and calming environment from the moment they arrive on the campus to the moment they leave. The new hospital replaces a 1960s-era building that needed extensive seismic retrofitting. The large volume of outpatient visits made providing convenient parking a crucial concern for the hospital’s project team, resulting in a parking garage (with partitions and railings filled by Banker Wire architectural woven wire mesh) and additional surface lots that provide more than 2,500 parking spaces for patients. The Banker Wire M13Z-145 woven wire mesh used in the garage’s multi-level partitions lets in an abundance... More

University of Alabama-Huntsville Parking Deck

Chapman Sisson Architects of Huntsville collaborated with Banker Wire to design attractive, out-of-this-world wire mesh panels for the front of the parking structure at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The material selected for the panels was Banker Wire’s M13Z-145 architectural woven wire mesh – a heavy, large scale, and rigid cable weave design. The woven wire mesh added a very distinct element to the structure, while reflecting both sunshine and architectural lighting giving the building very distinct looks from day to night. Increases in student enrollment at the University of Alabama in Huntsville necessitated construction of the multilevel parking structure on its landlocked campus. Measuring 300 feet long by 200...
