F.O.G. Architecture designs Cycle Cycle mobile bakehouse with grain sack facades

F.O.G. Architecture has designed a somewhat unconventional pop-up cafe and bakery for a client who wished to explore a connection between food and the land. Cycle Cycle mobile bakehouse is a pavilion-like structure whose design is inspired by a traditional barn and is reminiscent of Chinese rural architecture.  INSPACE F.O.G. Architecture F.O.G. Architecture was founded in 2018 by architects Zheng Yu and Zhan Di and has studios in London, Shanghai, and Chongqing. The studio’s philosophy is based on the premise that architecture is filled with emotion and forms a timeless connection with people. Prague-based BYRÓ architekti has completed a small and contemporary charred wood-clad garden pavilion in the Czech capital. Part of a garden colony, the cosy structure completely reimagines the mundane garden shed. Alex Shoots Buildings Alex Shoots Buildings BYRÓ architekti designed the garden pavilion for clients who own a large mature garden in the middle of Prague. Built on the foundations of a run-down cottage, the pavilion is a bijou dwelling that offers a modest space for shelter during inclement weather and occasional overnight stays in warmer summer months. Mel­bourne-based archi­tec­ture and inte­ri­or design stu­dio Splin­ter Soci­ety has completed the design and construction of a smart, contemporary pavilion for Monash Uni­ver­si­ty. Located at the university’s Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Parkville campus in Victoria, the Monash University Pharmacy Pavilion is an architectural canopy that extends the existing premises and provides an elevated entry. As one of the traditional architectural techniques, mirror fabrication has deep cultural roots and influenced by spiritual and religious beliefs. Corner pavilion

Corner Pavilion is located on a pedestrian street by the West Lake in Hangzhou. It is a small building designed by Dazhou And Associates commissioned by the coffee brand M Stand. The street is crowded with people, and the site which is less than 100 meters from the West Lake, is defined out by three ginkgo trees. THE PAVILION

What matters is that it's a space where reading can take place. The Pavillion has been designed as a modern-day folly, is constructed of timber and glass and is located on the grounds of an existing detached villa in the Algarve. The concept was to create a small private retreat close to the existing house with views across open countryside towards the sea beyond.  The new structure is sited in a wonderfully mature setting but also in a part of the garden that was rarely used.  Subtle changes are projected onto the timber slatted façade throughout the day created by the movement of the sun and the shadows from the foliage of the surrounding trees.  A dramatic change occurs in its appearance when lit at night. &nbs...
