Arlington ACTIV Adult Center
Completed in 2025, the Arlington ACTIV Adult Center in Texas accommodates the needs of the city's active 50+ community. The 73,000-square-foot facility includes a variety of fitness and athletic amenities for members, including indoor pools, pickleball courts and a gymnasium. ACTIVE also provides space for social activites and outdoor trails.

Over, 20,000 square feet of ALPOLIC Slate Black Matte metal composite materials, fabricated by Texas-based KSC, Inc., feature on the project's fascia and soffits, notably at the entrance and outdoor patio canopies. Numerous panels installed in the soffits were also perforated for a design effect.

The ‘Iceberg’ takes an environmentally sensitive approach to a small urban lot in Berlin
Featuring a light aluminium façade, the ‘Iceberg’ is a low-energy, wood-hybrid residential building constructed largely from recycled materials. Making the most of a small lot, the 11 low-barrier rental flats take up a mere 100 m2 of floor space.

The design, by Marc Dufour-Feronce and Andreas Reeg of Rundzwei Architekten takes a pragmatic approach to the relatively small lot with interventions intended to maximize space shaping the appearance of the building. On the courtyard side, the stair core and lift are positioned outwards, into the courtyard, while on the street side, a curved bay window enlarges the flats.
