Arena
FunctionArena offers a new way to integrate solar generation into buildings without sacrificing space or functionality. It is a photovoltaic pavement in a raised technical floor format, designed to transform terraces, rooftops, and other outdoor areas into walkable and aesthetically integrated solar plants.
Arena converts solar radiation into clean electricity while maintaining the original use of the surface, allowing underutilized areas to be repurposed for renewable energy production. As a high-quality construction element, it combines mechanical strength, safety, thermal comfort, and design, blending seamlessly into architectural, residential, or commercial projects.
Manufacturing and QualityArena has been developed as a modular,... More

10 buildings designed with integrated PV panels
Photovoltaic (PV) panels convert solar energy from the sun into electricity. Recognized as a source of natural and clean energy that is helping to reduce carbon emissions and address climate change, the use of photovoltaic power is expanding rapidly across many sectors.
PV panels are commonly integrated into a roof’s structure — however, they can also be fitted as part of a building’s facade. PV roof tiles are solar panels designed to look and function like commonplace roofing materials. Their design ensures they are seamlessly combined with a roof’s standard tiles. SunStyle Solar Roof is also available in the Americas.
FunctionAs we continue to expect more when it comes to the energy performance of our buildings, we must work to move away from fossil fuels and nuclear energy and towards renewable energy sources. A fully integrated solar roof that converts clean and unlimited solar energy into electricity helps us do both. The SunStyle solar roof harmoniously connects these two objectives: first, as a high quality construction element, it offers sustainable weather protection; and, second, it enables efficient electricity production over the entire roof surface.
Manufacturing and QualityThe SunStyle solar tile was developed as an energy-efficient, long-lasting construction element. The... More

Coca-Cola Headquarters Spain
If streamlined and smooth is the contemporary standard for corporate architecture, then the architecture bureau DL+A arquitectos has certainly shaken that idea up and added subtle depth in its design for the Coca-Cola headquarters in Madrid. The building, with its Y-shaped ground plan, emerges as an openwork block, and the combination of the solid darker façade sections with the dynamic green double-glazed wall is instantly eye-catching. Its shining interior is revealed as a veritable geode, but in this case a bottle-green one rather than amethyst.
Situated on the northern edge of Madrid, this building follows the contemporary tendency among office real estate towards energy-efficient installations and a conscious use of recycled and re... More
