New Avenue — Residential Development at Avenue of United Europe in Żory The planned multi-family residential development is a contemporary response to the needs of the city's residents: comfortable apartments, safe shared spaces, and a structured urban layout that builds genuine neighbourhoods — not just an "address." The scheme comprises 6 nine-storey residential buildings with 2 levels of underground parking. The buildings are grouped into three pairs, each connected by internal recreational courtyards located on the rooftops of the garage sections. The term "Forest Engawa" is a combination of a Japanese architectural element and the context of our project. The project of a single-family house in Miłoszyce near Wrocław is a contemporary interpretation of a single-story pavilion immersed in a forest clearing. The building was conceived as a calm, horizontal form that does not dominate the landscape but enters into an equal dialogue with it. A monolithic villa harmoniously blended into the forest surroundings on the outskirts of the city of Będzin. Context and site conditions The design of the contemporary villa at the edge of the Łagisza Forest in Będzin is a refined response to the specific geographical and urban conditions of the site, as well as to the needs of the family who will live in this house. The location of the development on the outskirts of the city, in the immediate vicinity of forest complexes such as the historic Łagisza Forest, defines the primary design vector: the pursuit of harmony between a raw, anthropogenic form and the organic environment. The Reconstruction of an Old Farmstead project reimagines a historic agricultural compound in a village in the Kashubian region of northern Poland, not far from the Baltic Sea. The intervention focuses on the reconstruction and adaptation of two buildings within a traditional rural homestead: a century-old house and its neighbouring barn. Landscape View is a conceptual single-family home in the Mazury region, whose main idea is to create a panoramic viewing house—a space that allows its inhabitants to fully enjoy direct contact with the surrounding nature. The project’s name is not accidental: the house serves as a succinct frame for the landscape horizon, highlighting the unique natural values of the site and enabling their daily experience. House K is one of our projects that had waited the longest for its construction. We started working on it in 2012, yet the house has just been finished in 2021. Piotr Krajewski In the meantime, the project and the construction have encountered some adventures. The original concept assumed that the building would be part of a larger complex, which was intended to be a multigenerational family residence. Later the client has decided to move her house to another, much more attractive location.
