There are seven different types of plastic with a variety of applications. The categories were first defined in 1988 under the Resin Identification Coding System. They are: polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high-density polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), low-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, and “other” — for plastics that do not fit the previous six categories, the best known of which is polycarbonate. A thermoplastic substance, polycarbonate is strong, durable, and has a high heat resistance. This material is particularly tough and virtually unbreakable despite its impressive lightweight quality.

Building Office Facade with Polycarbonate Walls and Polycarbonate Roof by Kinya Policarbonato
This is an office building space in Portugal. The polycarbonate panels were commissioned to Kinya to make sure employees were able to have natural light by day.
The polycarbonate walls and roof were commissioned by the owner because of the advantages of the polycarbonate material.
The inside photos of the building are complete when it comes to infrastructures as well as the warehouse where the raw materials are going to be kept.

Open plan warehouse concept achieves a playful sense of exploration
Warehouse Morinha is a large and light warehouse spaced custom-designed for a company that distributes children’s clothing and goods. The client wanted to achieve an open plan concept but also allow for a playful sense of exploration as one walks through the space. As such, stu.dere – Architecture & Design Studio implemented wire mesh features throughout, resulting in a physical but not a visual barrier.
