Ironmonger Row Baths SPA
The Ironmonger Row Baths restoration project, by Sauna 360 UK, won third prize in the Office and Shopping Centres, Public and Service Buildings category of the 13th edition of the Grand Prix architecture competition, with the following motivation: ‘The radical renovation of the long-established spa in the city centre involved redesigning the spaces and creating new atmospheres. The project used the most expressive, stylish materials in the Casalgrande Padana collections, chosen to enhance the various spaces and services. The undisputed key element in the project is porcelain stoneware, the material used to bring expressive character to the whole spa, with carefully studied combinations of colours and finishes.’

The Atelier collection consists of large-format tiles (from 40x120 cm to 60x120 cm and from 120x120 cm to 120x278 cm) that are only 6.5 mm thick. The palette includes 8 monochrome colours that range from candid (Brume and Cristallo) to Provençal (Lavanda) and from fresh (Fiordaliso and Indaco) to warm (Rubino) and vivid (Oltremare). The 30x30 mosaic tiles, with 5x5 and 5x15 cm pieces, complete the range. Atelier brings an original and elegant touch to any room with its sophisticated play of light and colour contrasts.

This new collection comes in five colours (Charcoal, Ice, Seal, Taupe, and Thunder), three formats (30x60 cm, 60x60 cm, and 60x120 cm), three finishes (natural, polished, and bushhammered), and a 9.4 mm thickness, except for the 60x60 cm format with a natural finish, which is 14 mm thick.
