House for a Filmmaker

The design of the apartment for a filmmaker draws inspiration from the comforting and nostalgic idea of a country house. This concept is beautifully realized through the use of natural materials, including wood, brick, and a variety of textiles, which collectively create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The design prioritizes flexibility, ensuring that the space can adapt to the varying needs of its inhabitants. Caption Caption A notable feature of the apartment is the reading room, which incorporates a series of glass sliding partitions. These partitions elegantly separate the reading area from the dining room, fostering a strong sense of transparency and openness as one enters the main entrance. This design choice enhances the o... Unique Home Creations | Crete

We are Zeropixel Architects, a group of engineers who chose to live and create in this unique place, Crete. Just like you. We share this desire with you. Our buildings that we design and construct for you reflect this mutual passion. For us, designing a home is based on trust and honesty. Constructing it requires responsibility and professionalism. These principles are key elements of our mentality. Our approach to construction combines the intimacy of an architecture office and the stability of a construction company. We see creating homes as a means to making people happy and building bonds that last after the construction process is over. Our team and Karl Heinz and Gabi are shown in this video. We had the pleasure to design and build th... More

The Feng Shui Stone House

In the area of Apokoronas and more specifically at the village of Gavalochori, in an area outside the settlement with a slight slope, we designed and built a two-level house with a basement and a swimming pool. The house is 511m2 and the construction time is 2019-2020.  The central idea of the house is based on the philosophy and principles of feng shui, as well as bioclimatic design. The central design is by four stone walls of different lengths which divide the house into three areas. Starting from the east ground floor, between the first two stone walls, we have the living room and the dining room and the office upstairs, looking at the double height of the living room. Three orthogonal frames of different shape and size made... More

Rustic Canyon Residence

This home, for a dynamic young family, came to us by way of the Bristol Circle residence. They admired the detail and solidity of that house and its classical form. After a long design process, the home that emerged was one with a more contemporary feeling structure, albeit strong neoclassical roots. The husband, an attorney, may have preferred a career as an architect, in my opinion, although I doubt he would ever admit that. He was sketching all through the process and definitely played a significant role throughout the development. In addition to his input, the wife is to be credited with the interior design work, especially an exhaustive two-year search for amazing antique brass light fixtures, and has a wonderful eye for interior ma...
