Qingtai Market
Venue and Origin:
Qingtai Market is located in the village group of Qingtai Village, Jianping Township, Wushan County, Chongqing. The site is an idle quarry outside the village entrance, which was previously used for mining and laying gravel for the roadbed. The quarry is parallel to the highway and has a narrow and elongated shape. Due to the fact that the stone walls left by the quarry are basically flat, the natural rock surface has a strong texture, which becomes a clear visual feature of the site.

Akrolithos
This project involved the building expansion of the offices of a mining and rock processing company, as well as the full configuration of the interior structure of its product showroom. The total area of the project covers 3,000 sq.m. and its construction took place from 2020 to 2023. The architectural composition has relied on the reinterpretation of the realm of the Company's quarries through the feeling of hovering at the intercept of the rocky terrain and the absolute sense of freedom of the landscape route.

V33
TriBeCa’s Vestry Street has a vast variety of facade configurations and building heights. Over the years, the district has evolved from textile trade to artists’ warehouses, and now, residences. Archi-Tectonics’ V33, a high-end residential condominium, unifies the historically varying building-fronts via a pixelated facade. The design team generated numerous pixelation patterns by overlaying Vestry Street’s varying facade levels. The resulting pattern is comprised of translucent stone and glass, which creates variable facade conditions throughout the course of the day. The facade’s translucent stone glows to the inside during the day, and to the street at night. As one of Archi-Tectonics‘ many Smart Skins, the V33 building’s facad... More
