Rainbow

The Isala Hospital in Zwolle (the Netherlands) is an innovative, sustainable and future-oriented top clinical hospital of 108.000m². Great experience of building hospitals was linked to a humane vision of the care environment. A natural environment by use of soft colours, natural materials and lots of greenery. In the façade, 2.2 million mechanical hand form facing bricks were used in mixed bond with 5 different colours, including the rainbow brick (cameo), specially developed for Isala. 28.000m² facade work is in a 3 colour joint composed to a symphonic brick building.
