Creation of an apartment in the rural section of a farmhouse in Praz-Pury The project involves the creation of an apartment in the partially disused rural part of a 1930s farmhouse. Fribourg farmhouses of that era housed both living quarters and farm functions under one roof. The rural section typically consisted of two stables flanking a central passageway — the fourragère — a through-space used for feeding livestock, which also benefited from additional height allowing hay to be stored above the stables. Sarang Nest House by RAW Architecture dynamically responds to West Jakarta City surroundings

Situated in a residential neighborhood of West Jakarta City, the Sarang Nest House by RAW Architecture is a dynamic reaction to its environment. Positioned at the hook of a street, the building faces west and south with protruding stories oriented at different angles. The overall volume of the house is enclosed by a perforated wall of red brick and a metal screen design that buffers the heat while lending a textured, industrial appearance to the exterior. INTRO The concept of the store is based on natural, monochrome materials that complement each other and are responsible for the bold character of the brand. One of the inspirations was the concrete walls, which we cleaned of paint, showing the aesthetics of concrete and building structures. The lack of a large number of familiar finishing materials on the market has become a challenge for us. The initial idea of using non-finish coatings and showing the "nature" of building materials has made sense.
