Collector's Lounge
The Collectors Lounge (2026) set within the West Wing of Somerset House is imagined as a contemporary take on the Maker’s Library, an inviting, flexible space where craft, materiality and curiosity sit side by side.
We wanted the space to feel like a place people naturally gravitate toward: tactile, storied, and quietly expressive. Sponsored by Trimble SketchUp, the lounge also reflects the tools that shape how many of us work today. We sketched, tested ideas, and modelled the space in SketchUp, using it as a way to play with form and bring the vision into focus, showing how digital tools can support a design process rooted in hand, material, and intuition.

The Delta Stack Pavilion
Developed by SaTa Na Architect in collaboration with SCG for the company’s Thematic Pavilion at Thailand Architect Expo 2026, the Delta Stack Pavilion responds to the exhibition theme, Beyond Materials, Into Life, by questioning whether building materials can shape architecture rather than simply serve as its finished components.

Instead of beginning with a predetermined form, the design emerged through an investigation of SCG’s building systems, including their dimensions, installation methods, structural behavior, and lifecycle potential.
Roofing products, typically used as planar protective elements, became the project’s primary design medium, generating an architectural language rooted in cons... More

CASA CRUDA
In Casa Cruda, two levels are clearly distinguished: a renewed base (with floors and walls clad) and an upper part that remains bare, authentic, and untouched. In this way, a single continuous space brings together the new and the existing, the technical and the handcrafted, the repaired and the preserved; a synthesis between past and present that allows time to be inhabited in all its layers.

Hiperfocal
Casa Cruda repairs a 1960s neighborhood house through a minimal and precise intervention. The project reflects on the legacy of traditional and anonymous typologies, and their connection to contemporary architecture. Rather than transforming, it refines and reactivates what already exists, turning built memory into the... More

Bánáti + Hartvig Architects’ Office Building
”Reuse what you can, do not cover or paint anything just to look nice!”
Over the past few years Bánáti + Hartvig Architecture Office has been increasing constantly, and grew out its office in Vaskapu Street. A new office building became necessary, which was designed by BH architects for themselves. This was a great challenge, because being their own client, the oportunity was given to create a building which shows the architectural approach that they consider entirely as their own. This way the site was prepared beyond the least environmental impact possible, following the guidelines of architectural cycle.
