Aikya Signature

Aikya Signature is a stand-alone residential tower at Tardeo, in the heart of South Bombay.  This tower is personified by its geometric linear design and is supported by the sustainable systems which were organically incorporated into the design. An important aspect of this system is the façade of the building which is engineered in a way to protect the indoors from the tropical Mumbai climate. The east west orientation of the building provides ample  north light to the main living areas. This orientation of the building also naturally ventilates the structure. Yamini Krishna Photography Caption The site itself had a lot of space constraints while designing. By providing stacked puzzle parking ample green space w... More

Liyuan Phase3

Liyuan Phase3 is a residential building in Hong Kong. Inside the lobby of the building, Flexglo™ F15 light strips are positioned inside the cove ceiling and almost hidden from normal viewing angles. Simple runs of F15 lights along recessed ceilings create pleasant layers of light that highlight the cove details.  F15 lighting fixture is installed for indirect lighting and its light output is well-balanced without visible lights, creating a soft and calm atmosphere in the hall.    3000k color temperature was strategically picked because the warm light that it brings integrates with the natural sunlight coming through the glass window, helping breathe life into the spacious room and adding a luxurious feel to the place. Pier 31

Marcelo Donadussi Marcelo Donadussi Therefore, Pier 31 could not be much different: the building was conceived on a relatively narrow site, with contemporary design and only four floors intended for apartments with generally traditional floor plans. The project's differential lies precisely in the contemporary design: unusual for the region, but still respecting the urban scale and occasionally bringing... More

Chashmandaz Villa

himself and one for his father as a gift for all his favors during his life. The back and forth relationship between father and son characters is shown in Iranian legendary books and is indicating the unbreakable connection between them. The presence of father as a symbol of conservative life and son as the forerunner of the new generation, as a family in spite of different lifestyles, is an undeniable and challenging situation. So putting together the father and son by observing each one’s privacy, accepting and understanding different personalities and lifestyles and highlighting the integration element is the goal of this project. Residential Building Canonica

The first choice appointment is to carry out subtle interventions instead of a complete demolition and reconstruction: interventions are considered to be more convincing and more successful because they can incorporate a sense of "aging" (that we identify as a peculiar value in architecture), through the stratification of the introduced changes. The second choice is to amend the proportions of the inner court by raising the level of the open-pit floor in order to create parking spaces in the current basement, and to generate a distribution system based on a single staircase in order to achieve financial and spatial economy, given the narrow spaces available. Last, the choices of the materials came before those of the composition. Both the l... More

Gheisizadeh Residential Apartment

Text description provided by the architects. In Gheisizadeh residential apartment project, our main effort was to provide the maximum possible outdoor space to the residents, while creating the maximum visual privacy from outside to inside. The initial idea was to create a flexible and variable building façade. The intention was to reach the desired result by changing the openings, "While giving the residents the right to choose their level of privacy".The effort was to, while respecting the introversion aspect of the residential units, consider implementing a terrace to protect the disturbing severe direct sunlight in summer and benefit from the sunlight in the cold weather of winter because of the warm and dry climate of Shiraz. As a resu... More
