Vaca

Nestled on the ground floor of a residential towner in downtown Los Angeles, the interior of Vaca by Studio UNLTD softens and reshapes the existing space with forms evocative of a subterranean cavern. Tanveer Badal Tanveer Badal Tanveer Badal  Sweeping, gestural curves are accentuated by layered lighting to guide the flow, creating an enveloping experience that offers an escape from the surrounding cityscape.  In keeping with chef Amar Santana's dynamic spirit, every detail of Vaca is designed to connect guests with the conviviality and craft inherent in Spanish cuisine. Neon Pizza

HDG set out to create a wave of ethereal nostalgia the moment guests step into Neon Pizza. The result is an experimental, almost video-game-like study in design, one that blurs the line between architecture and arcade. Lara Swimmer Drawing on the electric glow of retro gaming culture, the space layers neon color, pattern, and light into an immersive dining experience. Every surface plays a role in the story, from the saturated color palette to the geometric detailing that nods to pixel art and classic game design. Lara Swimmer The design team drew inspiration from their own childhoods throughout the process, and the final space includes a nod to that nostalgia: a playable game of Pac-Man, tucked into the experience as a small pi... Cuattro Casa de Café

Cuattro Casa de Café, located in Troncones, Guerrero, is a project that brings together architecture, landscape, and sensory experience under a clear premise: to build from the context. Conceived as a café integrating a restaurant, bakery, artisan retail area, and a private office, the space is organized with precision and coherence to respond to the local climate, terrain, and daily life of the site. © Rafael Gamo © Rafael Gamo © Rafael Gamo The decision to preserve the existing vegetation defined the entire layout. The original trees were not only conserved but became key design drivers: one of them dictates the opening in the terrace slab, while the others create a central open-air corridor th... More

The Grand Elinor Restaurant

Rooted in the quiet beauty of Wabi-Sabi, the design speaks through restraint rather than excess. A muted palette of greys, greens, and beiges forms the canvas, while raw wood, hand-finished brass, and artisan glass whisper of age, imperfection, and care. Caption Caption Caption Glass brick partitions diffuse boundaries without breaking connection. Curved niches invite solitude in a space that is otherwise open and fluid. Every surface holds texture; every moment holds presence. Caption Caption Caption This is not just a restaurant. It is a philosophy, rendered in space. More

Burger House Bros

The founders of the Burger House Bros brand are two brothers who spent their lives in Chicago and Belgrade, and who wanted to combine these two cultures through food in the way they experienced them. This was the main motive that had to be transferred to the interior of the restaurant, which is located within the Sakura Park complex in Belgrade, and represents a continuation of the cooperation that began with the interior project of the Burger House restaurant in Novi Sad. Jovana Rakezic Jovana Rakezic Jovana Rakezic Jovana Rakezic The project task was the same as for the first restaurant in Novi Sad, fine balance had to be made between what the clients did’t want, which is a classic fast food and fine dining rest... Saizon

Los Angeles-based Studio UNLTD introduces Saizon restaurant, a design project encompassing the interiors, lighting, facade, and patio of a 5,300 square foot interior restaurant with 805 square feet of outdoor dining within a freestanding building as part of a new mixed-use development in Fresno, CA.  In the design for Saizon, Studio UNLTD explores the tension between the opposing qualities of permanence, represented by architectural structure, and fluidity, symbolized by the perpetual ebb and flow of the ocean.  Heavily plastered columns and beams, reminiscent of decaying concrete pier supports add a dramatic gridded framework to the room while board-formed concrete wall tiles provide texture and depth.  Contrasting with the... La Maison Fresh & Bio

This Café/Restaurant has been conceived and imagined as an innovative and unique concept in the heart of the capital. Mehdi Triqui @tricky_tales The concept is based on a play of raw volumes assembled together, creating voids and solids both on the facade and inside the building, all arranged within a green setting without a clear distinction between the interior and exterior.  Mehdi Triqui @tricky_tales This lush and boundless vegetation creates a true cocoon, isolated from the street and the noise, right in the city center. The customer is invited to a real experience in a setting bathed in calmness, light, and greenery.  Mehdi Triqui @tricky_tales Designing an intimate space that is completely open to t... More

Oita Soho

Design project for a modern Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Soho in London. The brief was to create a sophisticated, relaxing space with Japanese influences, and carrying some of the identity established in Oita’s first restaurant – informal and verdant, with plants throughout the space.  The space required more than the conventional approaches of minimalistic modern Japanese design, to deliver a distinct, remarkable experience that is a synthesis of aesthetic and cultural elements from London as well as Japan.   Sara Hibbert The colour space of the design relies on contrast and shadow – colour detailing, wood and plants seem to glow with life against the darkness of background and framing ele... Lekkeray Eatery

The Lekkeray Eatery opened in summer 2022 on the ground floor of the Mobility Hub Zug Nord, a parking garage of the future with over 600 parking spaces and directly adjacent to the Tech Cluster Zug. Pfeffermint was able to win the competition for the first bistro of the family-run business in Cham and has since been supporting the Lekkeray in the areas of interior design, branding and brand reinforcement. The bright and minimalist architecture of the car park extends into the bistro with generous concrete surfaces and white steel construction elements, leading to an exciting interplay of industrial touches with the other chosen materials. This materialisation takes us on a journey along the Mediterranean coast: cork from Portugal, terracot... More

Restaurant Landerik

When designing the interior of the new Landerik restaurant, our points of departure were the intended functions and potential of the available space, its spatial parameters, and the vision of both the client and the Landerik brand. We aesthetically emphasized the narrow and long space with its arches and high ceilings, while keeping in mind the spirit of the time in which the building was constructed. We gently illuminated the arches, and we added to their softness through round mirrors in darkish tones, which also extended the space visually. The gentle white lights seem to float and, because they add a heightened sense of depth, they gently invite guests into the heart of the restaurant. The brick-coloured benches, meanwhile, extend the... More
