HDG set out to create a wave of ethereal nostalgia the moment guests step into Neon Pizza. The result is an experimental, almost video-game-like study in design, one that blurs the line between architecture and arcade.
Drawing on the electric glow of retro gaming culture, the space layers neon color, pattern, and light into an immersive dining experience. Every surface plays a role in the story, from the saturated color palette to the geometric detailing that nods to pixel art and classic game design.
The design team drew inspiration from their own childhoods throughout the process, and the final space includes a nod to that nostalgia: a playable game of Pac-Man, tucked into the experience as a small piece of joy for guests to discover.
