Orleans Harbour

After living in their Lake Austin fronted condo for over 10 years, the homeowners wanted a dramatic departure from what they had – a traditional, segregated and enclosed plan with French country furniture and lots of color. Being prominent figures in the Austin community, they insisted that we helped to elevate their entertaining lifestyle and surround them in a clean, contemporary open space with high ceilings with an emphasis on maximizing their gorgeous lakefront views at every turn. By reorganizing the floor plan and opening up the walls with glass, we have created an interior experience that is always connected to the outdoors. With exception to the art, everything in this residence has been hand-selected by our Interior Design... More

Janus Casa

Home is a place where residents can release themselves and announce all the personality and living habits. In addition to devoted work, we need cinematic fragments of transition, enjoying stay-alone or raising glasses with close friends. The dwelling model has started evolution to become more and more individuality, not just a difference of word, rather than the update of the relationship between humans and houses.   French Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin said in The Physiology of Taste, “Tell me what you eat: I will tell you what you are. “ You are what you eat, explains that one’s habits and personality can be acquainted by the clue of objects. As far as designers are concerned, this word could be unfolded and used... More

Sopron Castle District Revitalization

The Castle District of Sopron is a 40-60 meter wide boulevard, which was formed on the outer skirt of the ditch running along the city walls that encircled the former historical core of the town, on the so called glacis slope. Consequently, from direction of the castle walls the row of houses, mostly of Rococo and Louis XVI style built in the 18th-19th century, appears with alternating building height, developed typically on narrow plots. The only exception is one spot where the facade is interrupted by war damages and part of the castle wall reveals as a visual element. The outer row of houses consists of earlier, partly medieval buildings with wider lot divisions, resulting in patio houses that are connected to Castle District with passag... More

Palazzo Widmann

Palazzo Widmann (1630) is an early work of Baldassarre Longhena, a leading exponent of seventeenth century Venice. The building has a clear Baroque-Rococo imprint and still retains its original splendor. The splendor of the many rooms that are decorated with stucco and the presence of many refined examples of antique furniture, maintained in excellent condition, is proof of the Palace’s magnificence. In this context, the restoration of Palazzo Widmann has a deep meaning: not just a simple moke up of the building,... More

The design of this chair emanates from the rise of Roman-Greek taste characterized by an uncluttered ornamental repertory in reaction to the exuberance of the Rococo production.
