ArchiTALKS Franco Purini
The lesson proposes a journey around the figure, thought and works of Franco Purini, one of the most relevant Italian and international architects.
Through the architect's direct testimony, the narration goes through the different stages of training, research and construction of the Purini-Thermes studio, established in Rome by the architects Franco Purini and Laura Thermes.
The lesson starts with the “Roman” life portrait of the architect, where the workers' extraction of his family and the city's neighborhoods are fundamental elements. We arrive then at the moment in which the architect becomes fully aware of the profession through a fascinated gaze on the project of the Tuscolano neighborhood, designed by Mario De Renzi and... ArchiTALKS Schiattarella Associati
The lesson highlights, through the overview of the Schiattarella Associati studio, some relevant themes of the design and organizational work.
In particular, during the Talks to emerge is the necessary process of internationalization of the studio, opening up to new markets and territories, the work carried out for the competitions and the different approach to the client, with the tools of the profession and with the context. At the center of the Schiattarella Associati studio’s proposal there is the search for "identity" and the idea of "an architecture made for a place", interpreting the uniqueness of a piece of the territory through the project.
A path that starts from the continuous growth of the studio, a rich generational dia... More

Lapitec® full body sintered stone was chosen by the designers for both the communal areas and more detailed interventions in the bedrooms like furnishings, punctuating the space with natural, tactile accents. Even the tops of the bedside tables, tables and other surf... More

Stazione Gemelli di Roma
RIQUALIFICATION STATION GEMELLI ROMA
The project idea, founding the architectural composition aimed at the Restyling of the Gemelli Station in Rome, is essentially based on the study of the many urban / architectural fronts of which it is composed.
Body "A"
The "A" Corps of entry to the Gemelli Station is in direct connection with the fast urban arteries of Via della Pineta Sacchetti. The relationship with the city, of this entrance, is essentially expressed through: speed; the movement of the vehicular flow and the relationship given by a public space in front of redevelopment. On this front they also insist on potential station activities which, to date, are in a state of decay due essentially to their inactivit... More
