To address the growing grid congestion in the Utrecht region, Stedin is developing the new Oudenrijn / Utrecht North-West transformer station. This facility plays a key role in expanding and reinforcing the electricity network to meet the rapidly increasing demand for power from residential developments, business parks, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and sustainable energy initiatives.
