For the homeowners who are passionate admirers of the Japanese culture, the brief was precise at best – to create a modern ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) with a Scandinavian touch. The result is a cohesive space that is complimented by a fluid motion of poetic encounters, each defined by the bespoke feature walls that were skilfully handcrafted by sister company IN-EXPAT. Under the Sea

Under the Sea is a small sushi bar in the historical center of Saint - Petersburg.    Our clients came to us with idea to make something unusual in visual and construction terms. They had only name of restaurant - Under the Sea and 110 sq.m. space in a historical bulding. It was our starting point.    One of the advantages of the space was its ceiling height, so we decided to use it as visual magnet of the whole space and place some key structure there. This is how the massive wooden structure under the ceiling appeared. This construction consists of more than 40 wooden pieces and refers us to a huge polygonal wave, so visitors sit under metaphorical water. “Rumah Pojok” StoryDear readers, we will review one of VAastu Architecture Studio's works in 2017. We give the name "Rumah Pojok" because the position of the house is in the corner. This house is located in one of the GDC (Grand Depok City) clusters in Depok.The design process starts 5 months earlier than the date the house is handed over by the developer. After the handover with the developer is complete, then proceed to the renovation stage carried out by the client.
