This design deals with the conception and realisation of a ski-region infrastructure building. The design and its stylistic elements do not imitate the great pioneers and role models of the early 1920’s (Baumann, Welzenbacher), however a relationship has been created. The integration between the natural landscape and the building profile was adopted, re-created and combined in order to shape the movement or motion lines of pedestrians, cars, buses, skiers and the gondola itself. The building periphery curves along the roadside and rotates in the direction of the gondola, creating a visible association between the existing transport routes.
