This design deals with the conception and realisation of a ski-region infrastructure building. The design and its stylistic elements do not imitate the great pioneers and role models of the early 1920’s (Baumann, Welzenbacher), however a relationship has been created. The integration between the natural landscape and the building profile was adopted, re-created and combined in order to shape the movement or motion lines of pedestrians, cars, buses, skiers and the gondola itself. The building periphery curves along the roadside and rotates in the direction of the gondola, creating a visible association between the existing transport routes. Dieser Entwurf beschäftigt sich mit der Konzeption eines Infrastrukturgebäudes für ein Skigebiet und dessen Umsetz- ung. Der Entwurf lehnt sich nicht un- mittelbar an die großen Pioniere und Vor- bilder der frühen 1920er Jahre (Baumann, Welzenbacher) an, stellt aber dennoch eine Beziehung her. Die Ein- bindung in die Landschaft und dem Schichtenlinien- verlauf folgende Ge- bäudelinien werden als Ansatz über- nommen, neu übersetzt und mit den Be- wegungslinien von Fußgängern, Pkw, Skibus, Skifahrer aber auch mit denen der Seilbahn überlagert - eine sichtbar gemachte Bündelung der dort herr- schenden Mobilitätsadern, als ein in der Ortsmitte installiertes Gelenk der wesentlichen Verkehrssehnen, ver- woben mit dem Ort, und wird so als infrastrukturelle Drehscheibe zu einem Bauwerk für alle. www.zillertalarena.com
