It is located in the Battery Park City neighborhood, across West Street from the World Trade Center, and overlooks the Hudson River. Pindi Mall, a visionary project by COOOP in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is strategically positioned in a densely packed area, making it a central hub connecting the Railway Station and the vibrant Saddar Bazaar. Tailored specifically for the Middle-Class demographic, the concept revolves around a unique blend of a traditional bazaar and a modern mall – coined as a "bazaar mall." JCB collaborated with Australian artist Matthew Johnson to design an extensive art facade concealing an existing four level carpark structure at Chadstone Shopping Centre. Peter Bennetts Matthew’s painterly approach to the facade captures the motion of flowing fabrics, a nod to Chadstone’s identity as Australia’s fashion capital. The use of a perforated panelised system on a steel substructure utilises smart building technology. Located in Pickering, Ontario, the Pickering Town Centre was renovated in 2009 and re-imaged to encapsulate a unifying “leaf motif”. Featured at the six entrances of the shopping center, as well as on the interior elevator, ALPOLIC ACM panels were chosen to highlight the new additions. Cladco Ltd. For the design, a monochromatic color scheme was used to juxtapose a white ALPOLIC ACM leaf cutout with contrasting black ALPOLIC panels. Oneworks was commissioned to design a new luxury outlet destination to support the local community and tourism from local towns. The project assumptions originate with the territorial context, in addition to the commercial objectives. Context is the interventions topography, which uses the hillside to create a "vertical" complex. Terraced parking lots follow the terrains natural profile and the interior pedestrian path winds following a slight slope diagonally across the hillside. The Laindon Centre is a mixed-use, regeneration masterplan in Laindon, Essex, which will create new residential neighbourhoods and re-establish a vibrant retail-led high street.
