"This series of projects is one slice of our collaboration with the redevelopment of the Deji Plaza.
If possible, I would like to showcase and share all things artistic and beautiful with people. However, not all spaces are suitable for this strategy; we must consider the needs of the clients and avoid the occupation of commercial resources due to aesthetic expressions.
The restroom, as an ancillary functional space in the mall, does not originally serve any commercial purpose; corridors, bathrooms - these are the gray spaces that are often overlooked in daily life.

Corridors Of BBS Mall
The project is located in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, one of the East African countries. BBS Mall, with an area of 130 000 m2, is a candidate to become the largest shopping mall in East Africa. All corridor designs of the project were requested by the investors to be made by us. In the corridor design, since the building was already under construction and some ceiling applications were made, the project was started to be designed with a very limited design opportunity. Within this limited design opportunity, the design was made in a way not to delay the inaguration of the project and to establish a relationship with some parts applied in the field.

Gold Souk of BBS Mall
Investors of BBS MALL, which will be the largest shopping center in East Africa, aim to offer different shopping experiences to their visitors in the BBS Mall. The project is located in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. It has been requested by the investors to design an elegant space in accordance with the content of gold and precious stones to be sold in these shops. It is envisaged that the shops in a part of the BBS shopping center will be built as a gold and jewelery area by the investor.

Al Zaydi Mall
The Al Zaydi Mall is the first time Liqui have ventured into shopping mall design. We were responsible for the main entrance interior and food court design which includes a Brew92 coffee shop and several separate restaurants for which we also created the interior design and branding.
Owing to the geography of the site, the upper basement level of the building, where the Mall’s entrance is situated, is partially underground. To avoid a dark uninviting industrial looking interior we designed everything to have predominantly curved organic shapes and developed the idea of an outdoor park with serpentine paths, trees and a wealth of plants.
