Knightsbridge Townhouse

This was a restoration project of a beautiful Richard Norman Shaw Grade II property in Knightsbridge. The house was converted from seven flats back into a single dwelling townhouse, consisting of the amalgamation of the Main House with the Mews House. We worked with a variety of consultants, including; a structuralengineer, an M&E engineer, a lighting consultant, an audio/visual consultant, a specialist spa and a pool consultant, and bespoke suppliers and specialists. We worked alongside MDesign Interiors to create luxurious, modern interiors fittings and finishes. This is a decadent property in both the craftsmanship and interior design choices. It reflects the luxury of a Knightsbridge home while still maintaining the historical import... More

The Manjeri Residence

The Manjeri Residence brings together the principles of Indian architecture with the contemporary design of a London home. The property incorporates a chalet-style design, with the majority of the living spaces on the ground floor. While it is a modern house, we combined it with interiors such as the Puja and the Jali screen to design a home that does not stray far from traditional Indian architecture.  Caption Caption Caption More

Morocco in London

In this build, the focus was on the concept of a sunroom and the glass elements required for letting light into the home. With the addition of a glass extension, Morocco in London can bring in light without the fear of being overlooked due to the brick wall of An Indian Retreat. Caption The extension is a unification of workspace, reading nook, and kitchen space, all of which are surrounded by plants and flowers. There is also an addition of a guest cloakroom, which can also function as a laundry room incorporating a classical laundry basin with a drying rack above. The laundry basin was manufactured in-house so that the homeowner's vision could be personally completed by the architects.   Caption The renovations on this ho... More

An Indian Retreat

This build focused on the use of brick and expanding the space for the family. The entire house was re-modelled whilst maintaining original details like the front door, hallway floor, main bannister rail, and the original fireplaces.  Caption A rear dormer extension is visible on the top floor with the addition of a new bedroom and bathroom. In blending the extension seamlessly into the house, the architect decided to add integrated windows, facing onto the garden. The windows slope with the roofline and continue from the hallway into the bedroom, creating a wall of light in the dormer extension.  Caption Throughout the house, there are Indian family heirloom elements that are mainly located in the reception, enhancing... Zetland House Co-Working Offices

The development was to redesign the original boiler rooms within the basement and create a shared flexible co-working office for rent to new start-up businesses and small companies. The project created 5,600sq.ft of commercial office space. Within the design, we introduced a ‘U’ shape mezzanine floor to increase the overall NIA of the facility, and a design which would complement the original steel columns and other features of the original printing house. A new entrance was created which opens directly onto Scrutton Street, with new access to the new floors, kitchen and amenity spaces. More

Pocket House Project

The proposal presents a forward thinking innovative design for a change of use from industrial to residential property which is stand alone in its integrity, and can stand apart from the quite bland and mundane surrounding properties. The design takes into consideration the building footprint size, and as such has initiated the provision of a full building height rear extension, which will create a larger building footprint for the proposed development, and that will allow the adjacent premises, currently being used as class A5, to have a separate entrance to divide the two uses efficiently and to allow both uses to work well with a separate entrance by establishing a boundary line along the owned and shared land. There is a requirement t... More

King's Road Town House

A full height rear extension and alterations at the referenced property. The development and alterations will provide an additional 45sq.m NIA, increasing from 148.5sq.m NIA to 193.5sq.m NIA. We have created an addition to this property to improve the quality of living for the resident family. Currently, the property has x3 reasonably sized bedrooms, and the proposed work creates a fourth bedroom. The additional bedroom will enable the family to continue residing at this property. The design has been created sympathetically taking into consideration the surrounding properties.  Key design aspects of the proposal have taken precedent of features and materials which are recognised locally as attractive and suitable, and configured a se...
