When OFS Brands designed their new Los Angeles showroom, they tapped Pam Light, pL-D Studio, and Klawiter and Associates to help shape it. OFS is a family owned, community driven company that has been providing socially responsible furniture and logistics solutions since 1937. It was important that their showroom have a truly refined aesthetic that preserved existing architectural elements—a spatial metaphor for their modern product offerings and their rich heritage.

We took our most successful and iconic 1900’s French machinery inspired design and set out to defy convention. A cleverly playful twist on our timeless classic Hure, we set to balance art and technology by using the mathematics of the “Delaunay” and “Voroni” tessellation to reduce weight while maintaining structural rigidity. The patterns that are revealed through the design process expresses a youthful reinvigoration of a modern digital aesthetic.
