Monument House | Defined Through Reduction

Monument House is a residential concept developed around a simple question: what happens when a home is organized around what is removed rather than what is added? Rather than beginning with accumulation, more rooms, more square footage, or more visual complexity, the project explores reduction as a spatial strategy. At its center is a void: an interior garden that acts not as a feature, but as the organizing principle for the entire residence. Ritual Suite | Spatial Restoration

Ritual Suite began with a question: How can a primary bath become a restorative sequence rather than simply a collection of fixtures? Rather than approaching the project through aesthetics alone, BLOU INK reorganized the suite around spatial psychology, movement, and lived experience. Compression and release, material contrast, and intentional sequencing were used to transform a fragmented layout into an environment organized around restoration.
