CUNY: City Tech Academic Complex

City Tech is an institution committed to research and providing access to technological education and serving a diverse urban population. Perkins Eastman was hired to design a new academic complex on the school’s downtown-Brooklyn campus that enhances the image of City Tech and improves the surrounding neighborhood. The design team created a sustainable, vibrant space where science, health, and entertainment technologies can collaborate and co-exist. Our interior design for Fitness 22, a company that builds health and fitness apps, reflects the main values of this closed-knitted company, which is dedicated to advanced technology and wellness. To keep the space cozy and personal, while highlighting the work of the company, we combined home-like elements with wellness and sports motifs. Europe’s first 3D printed house completed in the Netherlands

A consortium of the government, knowledge institutions and industry came together to develop the new technology with the dream of solving the housing shortage in the Netherlands. Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) conducted research and developed the BIM models to print. The concrete mortar needed for 3D printing was developed by Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix, and together with TU/e developed the printing technology. The new MAFINEX Technology Centre is one of the most important building blocks of innovation promotion for the Mannheim Economic Development Agency to support the transfer of research and development to products and services. Embedded in the master plan Glückstein-Quartier, the technology centre has taken up its new location between the University and the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences. High ceiling buildings and architectures of austerity, many times can't follow up the dynamic and changing lifestyle of the young. That happened in Santo Agostinho School. They hired us to create a project to their "fab lab" space.The school has grown and its pedagogical methods is now more modern. Mason Dental

This 6,400 SF dental office located outside of Dallas, TX has all the country charm and comfort. Large doors welcome guests as they enter the cozy waiting area that features exposed beams, stone work and a fireplace. Wood arches guide patients to the exam rooms that have state of the technology but don't lack the charm that the rest of the building offers. Barn doors were used as a privacy feature for some patient rooms. Even the sterilization area features wood cabinetry to blend in with the rest of the space. More
