 The Albignasego Auditorium Theatre was born from the ambition to reinterpret the historical memory of the local rural houses through a contemporary lens, translating the texture of their brickwork into a modern cladding that gives the building a strong and recognizable identity. In this way, the architecture not only establishes a dialogue with the surrounding landscape and the scale of the adjacent urban fabric, but also narrates the history of the place through a contemporary language. OMA completes design of a new landmark cultural venue in Manchester

OMA has completed the design of Aviva Studios, a new landmark cultural venue in Manchester, England. In an ambitious project led by OMA Partner, Ellen van Loon, Aviva Studios is the acclaimed architectural firm’s first major public building in the UK. Located in Manchester’s historic industrial center, the building is part of the St. John's Quarter redevelopment, a new city centre neighborhood. Moscow Drama Theatre named after Stanislavsky on Tverskaya, the Moscow high street, has recently reopened its doors with a new name, concept and look. It is now Stanislavsky Electrotheatre – an important new venue with the ambition to become a global stage direction centre. The new name harks back to 1915, when the original art-nouveau building was conceived. By then it held a cinema which by then was a new form of entertainment, and cinemas were called electrotheatres. As the design by Van den Berg Groep and Henning Larsen Architects from Denmark for the main entrance of the new Emmen zoo and the Atlas Theatre or ‘World of Theatre and World of Encounter’ was called by the evaluation commission of the European Tender in 2012. The Atlas Theatre is a part of the Masterplan Emmen Center and is directly adjacent to the center of Emmen. PORTOSEGURO THEATRE

Located in a central area of the city of São Paulo, the project designed by the Studio AIC ARQUITETURA E URBANISMO and the Architect Israel Sancovski (Restorations of the commercial builidng), is part of a project for the restoration of the "Campos Elísios" neighbourhood. CHALLENGE The challenge was to resolve the architectural language that had to be maintained between the two existing buildings, on the one hand, the shopping centre and, on the other, the newly built Theatre.
