ITC Annex
The current trend in The Netherlands is to recycle existing buildings rather than to replace them. In the old city of Leiden Mirck Architecture has designed such a rejuvenation for a 15th century landmark canal house. In the 1960s the building’s interior was effectively destroyed, which sad event opened interesting perspectives for the building’s redevelopment. The building is now used as an Annex by the International Tax Center Leiden, a postgraduate studies that is housed in the neighboring mansion at Rapenburg 65.The Rapenburg 63 Annex houses a fully equipped modern lecture theatre with 74 seats, a student lounge, and student studios along with a joint living room annex kitchen that overlooks the splendid garden at the backside of the bu... Scheldehof Residential Care Centre
The monumental metal sheet factory (Zware Plaatwerkerij) on the former shipyard in the heart of Vlissingen, and the adjacent site, have been transformed into a residential care centre. The residential centre has 55 apartments for somatic care, 6 group accommodation units for psychogeriatric residents and 54 care and/or assisted-living apartments. In addition, the ground floor accommodates a restaurant, a training and education room, studios, a hairdresser, a shop, a physiotherapy room, a theatre auditorium and a parking garage.

Rabobank Croeselaan
Building and interior delivered following phased renovationRabobank's distinctive main office in Utrecht, which dates from the 1980’s, has been transformed into a dynamic working environment that will serve the bank well for the next 25 years, all thanks to a design by OIII architects. The original office hallways have made way for a flowing working environment. The spatial organisation sets a scene of rest and dynamism, analogous to the city where a dynamic centre is surrounded by tranquil suburbs. The shape of the building, which features three wings joining onto a central hub formed a forceful contour.
