Referencing the idea of ‘a treehouse without a tree’, the design imitates both the archetype gable roof of a traditional tree house and the proportion of the tree it sits on. This results in a vertical pitched structure encompassing spaces that are elevated from the ground on a shrunken footprint – just like the trunk of a tree.

Bali guest collective hotel concept offers a vision that radically departs from garish mass tourism
Far removed from Bali’s garish mass tourism, LOST LINDENBERG is a new guest collective hotel concept. Part of the Pekutatan community, a small Hindu village on Bali’s west coast largely untouched by tourism, the retreat is surrounded by temples, jungle, and near famous Medewi Surf Point.

With an emphasis on the collective experience of guests, visitors can take in peace and quiet in open-plan communal spaces and activities from yoga under a pergola to bonfires on the beach. Guests can also meet for conversations and opulent meals around solid, seven-meter-long feature wooden tables.
