PLAT ASIA, a Beijing-based design studio, developed a two-storey pavilion abutting the banks of the Weihe River in Shaanxi, China, that invites people to relax and relish the surrounding panoramas. PLAT ASIA ndn lab The river, the agricultural landscape, the highway, and the skyline stretched from north to south through the view frame and grilles form the basis of the design concept.  PLAT ASIA ndn lab The structure emerges as a traditional sloping roof, interposed by understated geometrical openings, providing uninterrupted views of the horizon and blurring the lines between the outside and inside. In Qinhuangdao, China, the Monologue Art Museum by Wutopia Lab opened on the park green of SEATOPIA in July 2022. The Museum is dedicated to those who, as the architects say, want to 'be free from worldly distractions.' CreatAR Images   The design comprises three no. buildings of 1,300 m2 each. Arranged into different monoliths and combined with walls, corridors, and ambiguous space, the triangular-shaped Monologue Art Museum emerges.
