HAS spatially translates the legends of Hakka village into a gleaming pavilion

Set within the historic walled village of Hakka in the Pingshan district of Shenzhen, the Freeing FrameYard is a modern pavilion designed by HAS Design and Research, paying homage to an old legend which regards the native Banyan tree as a sacred entity symbolising longevity and prosperity of the villagers. Situated within the northern area of poznań is ChiChi 4U – a new burger restaurant envisioned by mode:lina™. As the architectural design studio has previously created interiors for the same company, the new venue seeks to form a unique space while still aligning with the ChiChi 4U brand.The interior was filled with surprising materials which came straight from a building supplies warehouse! Almost 300 PVC pipes covered the walls and ceilings, and their dynamic composition with yellow mesh panels became a trademark of ChiChi 4U new joint. It looks like a simple pipe with a 7cm diameter in which a special internal circuit is installed to let the hot water circulate appropriately and eventually allows the installation of an electric element.
