The Ukrainian city of Dnipro has opened a renovated Uspenska Square, one of the oldest squares in the city. It was established more than 200 years ago. Dnipro is now an industrial city with over a million dwellers located 100 kilometers from the front line of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The reconstruction of Uspenska Square began in 2021, with 80% of the work completed, but in February 2022, the construction was forced to stop due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. But despite the ongoing war, the city is still trying to live: IDPs are coming here, and residents who left the city are returning. The client's brief was to create an authentic Ukrainian space that combines a café, a coffee shop, and a farm shop. The Museum of Science is our challenging project with an area of 2000 square meters, where we got acquainted with hundreds of exhibits and provided a place for each of them. Four zones and two floors symbolize the development of humans + the universe. Air - water - humanity - science. We used interactive and futuristic materials, such as dichromatic glass near the reception, through which you can enter the magical realm of science from the street, like through a portal. Dnipro Light Flowers is a light-art installation based on 13 inactive chimneys. The first highest chimney has already been completed. It is 120 meters high and covered with 700 point light sources, and a 50W laser is installed on the top.   The chimney is located on the territory of a former metallurgical plant. Now, as the plant is closed and its territory is being cleaned up, they decided to preserve the chimneys and turn them into art objects to honor the history of Dnipro city, its industrial past, which served to the country's intensive growth and development. Area 400 m2. Plot 0.30 hectare The project was designed for a young family. The house was conceived as a suburban housing with modern planning solutions and a high degree of comfort, stylized to the classical volume. The first floor has a public function - a large double-glazed living room oriented with glazing on the east and west sides, which allows the tenants of the house to "be present" in all phases of the day. The spacious living room consists of four main zones flowing one into another: kitchen, dining room, fireplace hall and a zone of a soft corner.
